Northeast Community Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities throughout Northeast Mississippi. We provide supportive and educational programs for seniors, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals in recovery and sober living, and others who can benefit from community-based resources. Through socialization, education, health and mental-health awareness, advocacy, partnerships, and supportive services, we work to promote dignity, independence, wellness, inclusion, and a better quality of life.

Northeast Community Services exists to help address gaps in community-based support for individuals and families who may experience social isolation, disability-related barriers, health disparities, limited access to resources, or challenges associated with recovery. Through education, advocacy, social engagement, wellness initiatives, supportive services, and community partnerships, we seek to help individuals remain connected to their communities while strengthening independence and overall quality of life.

Who We Serve

Our programs are designed to support residents of Northeast Mississippi, with particular attention to seniors, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, people in recovery or sober living, families and caregivers, and individuals who may face barriers to community resources, wellness education, social connection, or supportive services.

Many individuals and families benefit from accessible, community-based opportunities that reduce isolation, strengthen social connection, improve awareness of health and mental-health resources, support independence, and provide encouragement during recovery. Northeast Community Services seeks to help bridge these gaps by connecting people with education, supportive programs, referrals, and trusted community partnerships.

Community Partnerships & Collaboration

Northeast Community Services values collaboration. We seek partnerships with healthcare providers, social- service agencies, schools and colleges, local government, businesses, faith communities, recovery organizations, disability service providers, senior-serving organizations, volunteers, and other nonprofits. Strong partnerships help reduce duplication, extend community reach, improve referrals, and connect participants with a broader network of support.
